Rainier Scholars - Seattle is a long-term college readiness program for students with the greatest barriers to achieving a college degree. Students are accepted into the program in 4th grade and supported through college graduation.

Great candidates for Rainier Scholars:

  • Will be enrolled in 4th grade during the 2025-26 school year in Seattle, Renton, Highline or surrounding districts;
  • Loves to learn;
  • Are looking to be part of a community of curious, motivated, and supportive peers.
In addition, our program seeks to serve families with the greatest need (those with limited income, minimal experience navigating higher education pathways, and/or other significant barriers to college graduation).
